SAEDNEWS: A dramatic headline about a shocking or scandalous family marriage situation.
According to Saed News Agency, citing Rokna, there is only one situation in which a woman can simultaneously be the mother of the bride and the mother-in-law, and that is when her daughter and son marry each other. At first glance, this may sound surprising, but the story behind it is quite dramatic and resolves many puzzling questions once revealed.
Although marriage between a brother and sister is illegal, the marriage described in this case was completely legal. The story involves a Chinese woman who, just moments before her son’s wedding ceremony, unexpectedly discovered that the bride was actually the daughter she had lost many years ago—and she was about to marry her son.
The woman became suspicious after noticing a distinctive birthmark on the bride’s hand. She then investigated with the bride’s adoptive parents and eventually learned that the bride was indeed the daughter she and her husband had lost 20 years earlier.
The adoptive parents explained that they had found the girl by the roadside near a city two decades ago and had raised her as their own child. All the details matched, confirming the truth of the situation.
At that point, the wedding was expected to be canceled since the bride was the couple’s biological daughter. However, the groom’s mother—who was also the bride’s biological mother—stated that there was no obstacle to the marriage.
Her statement shocked everyone and initially caused disagreement. She then clarified the situation: after losing their daughter, the couple had adopted a young boy, who later turned out to be the groom. Since he was not biologically related to the bride, she explained that there was no blood relation between them, and therefore their marriage was completely acceptable.
