How To Make Barberry Pickle

Ingredients for Barberry Pickle (for 1.3 kg):

  • Barberry: 500 g

  • White vinegar: 250 ml

  • Barberry juice: 500 ml

  • Salt: 2½ tablespoons

Preparation Steps:

Separate the barberries from their stems, wash them, and place them in a strainer to drain the water. Then transfer them into a glass jar.

Mix the vinegar and barberry juice, add salt, and pour the mixture over the barberries in the jar. Then close the lid tightly.

Special Notes:

Instead of barberry juice, you can use plain water or pomegranate juice. If desired, you can also use black barberries.
