SAEDNEWS: Ship Traffic Through Strait of Hormuz Continues to Decline Amid Rising West Asia Tensions
According to Saednews, Commodity vessel traffic through the Strait of Hormuz fell to four vessels on Monday, down from 10 the previous day, according to preliminary data from Kpler cited by Reuters on Tuesday.
The Hormuz Strait Monitor reported that at least 436 vessels remained at a standstill.
Recent attacks on shipping in the Strait of Hormuz and Saudi energy infrastructure have pushed crude oil prices higher. Brent crude futures rose by $1.24, or 1.18%, to $106.93 a barrel as of 00:26 GMT.
