SAEDNEWS: Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei confirmed on Wednesday that Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani is scheduled to travel to Tehran on Thursday.
According to Saednews, Baqaei said the Qatari prime minister will meet with Iranian officials to discuss efforts to reduce tensions and create conditions for dialogue.
He praised Qatar’s recent efforts to prevent further regional escalation following military actions by the United States and the Zionist regime against Iran. During the meetings, the Qatari prime minister is expected to discuss the continuation of Qatar’s mediation initiatives, along with other key regional developments.
