SAEDNEWS: Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf said the United States cannot secure concessions from Iran through greater pressure, accusing Washington of seeking terms that were never part of the understanding.
رAccording to SaedNews: Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf, speaker of Iran’s Parliament, said the United States cannot obtain additional concessions from Iran simply by increasing pressure.
In a post written in English on his personal account on X, Ghalibaf said American officials appear to believe that putting greater pressure on Iran will force Tehran to accept concessions that were never included in the understanding.
He also sharply criticized US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, saying they are not up to the task.
“Don’t expect this team of clowns to perform a miracle,” Ghalibaf wrote, adding that they should not be expected to suddenly pull a rabbit from a hat like magicians and rescue the United States from a crisis it created itself.
