SAEDNEWS: Iran and Iraq will work together to strengthen “endogenous and shared security” while promoting mutual prosperity, Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said ahead of his visit to Baghdad.

According to Saednews, Iran's parliament speaker said the relationship between Iran and Iraq is “historic and unbreakable,” founded on brotherhood during difficult times, resistance to foreign interference, and a belief in a shared future.

Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, writing in Arabic on social media ahead of a strategic visit to Iraq, said the lessons of the past would help shape the future. He added that the trip would focus on taking practical and important steps to strengthen shared security and improve the welfare of both nations.

He concluded his message with the hashtag: “Our Brotherhood Is Our Strength.”
