SAEDNEWS: Hamas has conditionally agreed to the roadmap for the second phase of the proposed Gaza peace plan, linking its implementation to a full Israeli military withdrawal, sustained emergency aid and the launch of Gaza’s administrative and reconstruction efforts.

According to SaedNews: A Hamas delegation led by Khalil al-Hayya, head of the movement’s political office, reaffirmed its position on achieving lasting peace during a meeting in Egypt with mediators and guarantors of the Gaza ceasefire agreement.

The movement agreed to the roadmap for the second phase of the proposed Trump plan, presented by Nikolay Mladenov and the mediators, while making its approval conditional on protecting Palestinian interests and reaching a permanent ceasefire.

Hamas said implementation must meet several objectives, including the complete withdrawal of Israeli forces from the Gaza Strip, the provision of immediate and sustained humanitarian aid, and the start of the committee responsible for Gaza’s administration and reconstruction.
