Attacks on Iranian Infrastructure Could Accelerate the Decline of U.S. Global Dominance

According to Saednews, A senior Iranian official has issued a strong warning following remarks by U.S. President Donald Trump about potentially targeting Iran's infrastructure and energy sector.

Speaking on Saturday, Mohammad Mokhber, a senior adviser to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei, said that while the United States approaches conflicts through military calculations, Iran responds from what he described as the "logic of history."

Mokhber argued that any attack on Iran’s critical infrastructure would have consequences extending well beyond the battlefield. He claimed such actions could destabilize the international system that, according to him, has been shaped by Western powers over the past 250 years.

"Any aggression against Iran’s infrastructure directly awakens the fault lines upon which 250 years of your hegemony’s architecture has been built," Mokhber said.

He further warned that if those foundations were to collapse, the existing global power structure would face severe disruption, adding, "When the pillars of this system collapse, there will be no command center left to lead, nor any market left to plunder."

The comments came amid continued tensions between Tehran and Washington over regional security and strategic issues.
