SAEDNEWS: After the Treasury Secretary’s remarks about the continuation of the blockade, U.S. officials have claimed in a threatening tone that the naval blockade against Iran has expanded beyond its previous scope.
According to the political news service of Saed News Agency, citing Fars News Agency, following remarks by the U.S. Treasury Secretary regarding the continuation of a maritime blockade against Iran, American officials have claimed that this blockade has been expanded.
The Washington Post reported early Wednesday, citing informed sources, that areas outside the Middle East, including waters of the Pacific Ocean, have also been added to the designated maritime blockade zone against Iran.
These unnamed sources added: “In the coming days, we will determine the next steps regarding the seized tanker Tiffany and its crew.”
