SAEDNEWS: Brigadier General Ali Akbar Javidan, commander of Iran’s Border Guard, warned that any attempt to breach the country’s borders will face a decisive response, ensuring regret for the offenders.
SAEDNEWS: According to a statement by the Law Enforcement Command, Brigadier General Javidan emphasized that Iran’s borders remain secure thanks to the vigilance and presence of border guards across the country.
He commended public support and participation, noting that Iranians have showcased the strength and authority of the Islamic Republic while sending a clear message to its adversaries.
Javidan stated that border guards are fully deployed along the nation’s frontiers and are carrying out their duties with complete authority during the current sensitive circumstances. He added that they operate in close coordination with other armed forces, including the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) and the Iranian Army, to safeguard the country’s borders.
The commander highlighted that personnel at border posts maintain high morale and are fully prepared for any situation.
He also pointed out that multiple attempts by militant and terrorist groups have been thwarted due to the vigilance of border forces, preventing any disruption to border security.
Javidan noted that collaboration with neighboring countries’ border authorities continues, with 68 border meetings held to facilitate security coordination, travel, and economic exchanges.
Additionally, he reported that around 9,000 Iranian Hajj pilgrims have returned to the country via the Shalamcheh land border crossing on the Iran-Iraq border.
