According to the Political Desk of Saed News, citing the Iranian Students’ News Agency (ISNA), Hojjatoleslam Seyed Hassan Khomeini stated in a televised interview that all are deeply saddened by the martyrdom of the Leader of the Revolution.
He said, “We have not yet held mourning ceremonies, and God willing, after victory we will mourn. This loss was extremely difficult and bitter. Martyrdom was the right of Grand Ayatollah Khamenei. After a lifetime of struggle, attaining martyrdom at the hands of the most wicked of the wicked during the holy month of Ramadan was a blessing and was granted to him.”
He further emphasized that it is their duty to transform tragedy into epic resilience. “While our hearts are bleeding and our eyes filled with tears, we must remain hopeful about the future with trust in God. We must pass through this crisis and even hundreds of crises greater or smaller than it,” he added.
