SAEDNEWS: Jomhouri Eslami newspaper criticized efforts by some to prevent an agreement during the Iran-U.S. negotiations.
According to the political news service of SaedNews, Jomhouri Eslami newspaper wrote: Regarding the recent political movements, largely aimed at preventing war, it seems that diplomacy is striving to achieve results. The expectation is that the country’s political conditions will be arranged in a way that does not disrupt the successful functioning of diplomatic efforts.
Emphasizing this point is important because experience has shown that whenever successful efforts are made to reduce tensions, certain individuals—whose personal, factional, or partisan interests lie in the continuation of conflict—immediately intervene, erecting repeated obstacles that block the path to peace and stability.
Even now, ominous voices spreading hatred, enmity, and discord can be heard.
Our leaders must not pay attention to the disastrous cries of these ill-omened “owls.” The people of Iran now need peace and stability, nation-building, and a chance to make up for past setbacks. We are a country endowed with vast material and spiritual resources, as well as some of the best human talent. If these resources are used wisely, Iran could rank among the most advanced nations.
To achieve this goal, there is a great deal of unfinished work that can only be accomplished once the extremist faction is removed from the country’s management. This is the most important condition for the success of diplomacy.
