SAEDNEWS: A diplomat told The Washington Post that Tehran is willing to engage respectfully but will not accept Trump’s conditions.
According to the political service of Saed News, citing Tasnim, an Iranian diplomat told The Washington Post: “Under the current circumstances, no negotiations are possible. Trump’s conditions for negotiation are unrealistic and non-negotiable.”
The Washington Post claimed: “This indicates Iran’s rejection of negotiations under the prevailing conditions, which include U.S. military pressure and specific demands from the Trump administration.”
The Iranian diplomat, speaking anonymously, emphasized that Iran remains open to “respectful engagement” with the United States, but not while facing military threats.
The Washington Post reported that the U.S. conditions are the same as those, according to Israel’s Hebrew-language Channel 12, proposed by the Israeli regime: full dismantling of the enrichment program, halting the missile program, and cutting support for Iran’s allied groups in the region.
