SAEDNEWS: Iranian Fighter Jets Soar Over Kermanshah as Israeli Maneuvers in Iraqi Airspace Stir Fresh Tension

Israeli Fighter Jets Near Iran’s Border — Is a Major Development Coming?

According to the political desk of SaedNews, quoting Khabar-e-Fori, fighter jets of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Army flew on Tuesday over the skies of Kermanshah, close to the Iraqi border. At the same time, official Iraqi sources announced that Israeli fighter jets had entered Iraqi airspace and carried out simulated launch maneuvers near the Iranian border.

The jets reportedly returned to their bases in Israel after completing the exercise.

Hebrew-language sources reported that the purpose of the drill was to assess Iran’s radar capabilities and air-defense systems in detecting Israeli aircraft. According to these sources, the results indicated that Iranian radar systems were able to identify these flights.

Meanwhile, the military channel Nezami News claimed that full alert had been issued for all Israeli Air Force units.

The outlet added that Israeli fighter jets broke the sound barrier along the Iran–Iraq border in a new show of force—an action analysts describe as a direct and provocative message to Tehran.

Military sources also warned that this display of power could signal Israel’s transition into the second phase of operations against Iran—a phase that, according to these claims, would be significantly more offensive, expansive, and dangerous than the first.

Separately, according to Tasnim News Agency quoting Iraqi media, an explosion of unknown origin was heard in Iraq’s Maysan Province.

Reports indicate that an aircraft broke the sound barrier over Maysan’s airspace. However, Iraqi official media have not yet published any information on the incident, leaving the reports unofficial and unverified.

SaedNews cannot independently verify these claims.
