SAEDNEWS: At Least 40 Civilians Killed in Terrorist Attack in Nigeria’s Taraba State
According to Saednews, At least 40 civilians have been killed in an armed attack in Nigeria’s southeastern Taraba State, the Premium Times newspaper reported, citing human rights activists.
A group of gunmen reportedly stormed the village of Binnari from neighboring Plateau State. The attackers set fire to farmers’ crops, destroyed homes, looted shops, and indiscriminately killed civilians.
According to eyewitnesses, the death toll could rise further, as many residents remain missing. Search and rescue operations are ongoing.
