SAEDNEWS: Democrats Could Launch Investigations Into Trump and His Administration After Midterms
According to Saednews, Democratic politicians interviewed by the newspaper said they plan to launch broad investigations into the growth of President Donald Trump and his family’s wealth during his time in office, along with his administration’s prosecution of political opponents and restructuring of the federal government.
According to Democratic estimates, Trump generated $2.25 billion from foreign business deals and cryptocurrency during the first year of his second term, TASS reported.
The White House rejected the allegations, saying in response to the newspaper’s request for comment: “Democrats have no agenda to improve the lives of the American people, just plans to obstruct and baselessly target President Trump’s commonsense agenda.”
The US congressional midterm elections are scheduled for November 3. All 435 seats in the House of Representatives and one-third of the Senate seats will be contested. Republicans currently hold control of both chambers of Congress.
