Lebanon’s Health Ministry released the initial casualty figures following the evening strikes but did not immediately provide further details.
The Israeli military said it intercepted a drone launched by Hezbollah toward its forces in the security zone and responded with airstrikes. It described the drone’s flight as a “clear violation” of the agreement, while making no reference to its own continued attacks on Lebanese territory.
