According to SaedNews: For the first time in more than 15 years, three prisoners were executed in the United States on the same day, with separate executions carried out Thursday in Oklahoma, Tennessee and Alabama.
Carlos Cuesta-Rodriguez, 70, was executed in Oklahoma; Darrel Hines, 66, was put to death in Tennessee; and Jeremy Williams, 42, was executed in Alabama. All three were killed by lethal injection.
The simultaneous executions are being viewed as a sign of renewed activity surrounding the death penalty in the United States.
