Speculation about their engagement intensified after Sánchez was seen wearing a ring on her finger. However, no details about their proposal or wedding plans are currently available. Bezos and Sánchez, a former entertainment host, first made their relationship public in 2019.
The couple has largely kept their private life away from the press, but reports of their engagement surfaced on Monday after photos were released showing the two on Bezos’s yacht, where Sánchez was seen wearing an engagement ring.
In 2022, during their first joint interview at their home in Washington, D.C., on CNN, they spoke about their philanthropic efforts and their goal of donating a significant portion of Bezos’s wealth to various causes.
Sánchez said about their charitable work that they are good teammates, joking that they can be “a bit boring.”
Bezos described the Emmy-winning journalist as “the most generous and open-hearted person I have ever met,” adding that she is “inspiring.”
