SAEDNEWS: Man Lived for More Than Half a Century With a Coin Lodged in His Nose Since Childhood
According to Saed News, citing Young Journalists Club, a 59-year-old Russian man who had reportedly lived with a coin in his nose for a very long time finally discovered the cause of his breathing problems.
The middle-aged man had been unable to breathe through his right nostril for four months before visiting a hospital, where he was shocked by the diagnosis. Doctors at a hospital in the city of Konchalovsky in the Zelenograd region, after performing a scan, detected a foreign object in the nasopharyngeal area of his nose that had completely blocked his nostril.

Although the patient did not remember the cause of his breathing issue, doctors believed it may have been linked to a coin he had inserted into his nose during childhood. Surgeons at the hospital subsequently removed the coin during surgery, which lasted about 1.5 hours.
The man, whose identity was not disclosed, was reportedly shocked when he saw the coin and told doctors that he had inserted it into his nostril while playing at the age of six.

According to hospital doctors, he was very lucky not to have lost his ability to breathe or suffered long-term respiratory complications.
