According to the Saed News Society Service, the veterinarian commented on this unusually deformed lamb: following examinations of the pregnant ewe, a cesarean section was deemed necessary. After the procedure, the lamb was born dead.

The cause of this rare phenomenon is either incomplete separation of two embryos during cell division, ingestion of toxic plants, or administration of certain drugs, all of which occur infrequently.
