Address: Lorestan Province, Dorud County, Papi District, Sepid Dasht Village, Bisheh Village
Bisheh Waterfall is one of the most attractive natural sites in Lorestan, situated in a mountainous region at the foothills of the Zagros mountain range, within the boundaries of Dorud County. Khorramabad borders Borujerd and Saleh on the north, Dorud and Aligudarz on the east, Chagni on the west, and Pol-e-Dokhtar and Khuzestan Province on the south.
The waterfall is located in Sepid Dasht, in a village called Bisheh, 66 kilometers east of Khorramabad and 87 kilometers from Dorud. To the east of it are the Kola-Kuh hills and to the north, the Azgen mountain. The Tehran-Khuzestan railway also passes nearby, making access easier.
Access to Bisheh Waterfall:
Due to its proximity to the Tehran-South railway station, Bisheh Waterfall attracts many tourists. In the past, access to the waterfall was only possible by train.
There are two ways to reach Bisheh Waterfall:
By car: If you plan to drive, the distance from Khorramabad to Bisheh is about 66 kilometers, and from Dorud, you need to travel about 87 kilometers. Along the route from Dorud to Bisheh, you will pass areas with scenic views, seasonal and permanent waterfalls, and beautiful green trees that you will surely enjoy. The road from Dorud has sharp curves, and due to its narrow and unsuitable road, limited visibility (especially at night), and the dangerous cliffs without barriers, caution is needed. The Khorramabad route is longer but more suitable.
By train: Another method is to take the Tehran-Ahvaz railway and get off at the Bisheh station. This railway route, passing through the Zagros mountains, is one of the most scenic rail lines in the country. From the Bisheh station, the waterfall is not far, and signposts will guide you.
