SAEDNEWS: A 19-year-old girl had maintained a full makeup routine for 7 years and never let anyone uncover her secret.
According to the Saed News Society Service, a 19-year-old girl had been extremely afraid of showing her real face to her family and others for 7 years due to a rare skin disease. She had her reasons for this, and perhaps the main reason was the fear of her appearance being mocked by those around her.
This girl, whose name is Maria, finally overcame her fear after 7 years and revealed the biggest secret of her life to everyone by appearing on a live show!
Standing in front of the live camera, she removed her makeup and showed her real face, which had undergone significant changes due to her condition, “vitiligo,” to the public. Her goal in doing this was to help people whose lives have been negatively affected by the fear of this disease.

Maria first noticed a white spot on her finger when she was just 11 years old. At that time, the spot didn’t seem significant. She showed the white spot to her mother, who said the mark would soon disappear. However, a few months later, white spots began to appear all over Maria’s body.
Finally knowing what disease she had gave her peace of mind. But knowing the truth also caused her deep sadness and emotional distress.
By the time puberty began, half of Maria’s face was divided into two different colors. She had to sit for hours in front of the mirror to cover the white areas with makeup.
“I didn’t hug anyone, and I never allowed anyone to touch my face. When I was outside, I constantly checked my face in the mirror to make sure my makeup hadn’t come off and the white spots weren’t visible. I was afraid people would discover my secret.”
When she started university, the young woman’s life began to change. Moving to a new place and interacting with educated people somewhat eased Maria’s mind. She eventually shared her secret with her university friends, and the reaction was positive. Her friends understood her and treated her with respect.
