How to Make Delicious Cappuccino Dessert

Cappuccino is one of the most popular and delicious beverages worldwide, and with this recipe, you can easily make it at home. Stay with Saed News for a complete, step-by-step guide on how to make a delicious cappuccino dessert.

What is Cappuccino?

Cappuccino is an Italian hot drink based on espresso. For coffee lovers, the name Italy holds a special meaning—it is the "home of coffee beverages," where even the names of drinks are very intriguing. Interestingly, the name "cappuccino" is derived from a group of monks whose robes and small hats resembled the foam and coffee powder on cappuccino! The way cappuccino is made varies worldwide. Italians prepare it with double espresso and milk foam, but there are other variations. One of these is "wet cappuccino," where the amount of milk is more than the foam, resulting in more milk than foam. If no milk is added and only milk foam is used on top of the coffee, it's called "dry cappuccino."

Ingredients for Delicious Cappuccino Dessert:

  • 1/2 cup + 2 cups milk

  • 2 tbsp gelatin

  • 4 tbsp sugar

  • 1 pack Petit Beurre biscuits

  • A pinch of vanilla

  • 200g heavy cream

  • 1 pack cappuccino mix

How to Make Delicious Cappuccino Dessert:

  1. In a small bowl, pour 1/2 cup of milk and add the gelatin. Stir and wait for a few minutes to bloom. Then place it over a steam bath and stir until the gelatin dissolves. Alternatively, you can microwave it for 1 minute to dissolve the gelatin.

  2. Crush the Petit Beurre biscuits by hand or in a food processor (but they don't need to be powdered). Then, add 2 cups of milk, sugar, biscuits, and a little vanilla to a pot. Heat it for 5 minutes until the milk is warm but not boiling. At the end, add the gelatin mixture and stir until smooth.

  3. Remove the pot from heat, and transfer a little of the mixture into a separate bowl. Add the cream (at room temperature) and stir. Once the cream is well blended, pour it back into the pot and mix well. Add the cappuccino powder and stir until there are no lumps.

  4. Grease the mold slightly and pour the dessert mixture into it. Refrigerate the mold for 8 hours until it sets. To remove the dessert, gently pull around the edges and invert it onto a serving dish. Enjoy!

Key Tips for Making the Delicious Cappuccino Dessert:

  • Make sure to dampen the dessert mold slightly so that if it doesn't flip in the center, it will be easier to transfer.

  • You can optionally add mashed banana to the mixture for extra flavor.

  • You can use any cappuccino brand you prefer.

Ingredients for Second Method of Cappuccino Dessert:

  • 3 packs cappuccino mix

  • 3 cups milk

  • 1/2 cup sugar

  • 100g heavy cream

  • 2 tbsp gelatin powder

  • 1/4 cup cold water

How to Make Cappuccino Dessert (Second Method):

  1. In cold milk, dissolve the cream, sugar, and cappuccino powder well. Place it over medium heat, stirring continuously until it turns a creamy color. Then, turn off the heat.

  2. Add the gelatin (which has been dissolved in 1/4 cup cold water) to the mixture. Stir well to prevent any skin from forming.

  3. Once the mixture has cooled down, pour it into serving containers and refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours.

  4. You can garnish the dessert with mashed banana, crushed biscuits, or other toppings of your choice.
