According to a report by the Family Magazine service of Saadnews, with the cold weather and the arrival of autumn and winter, we are more likely to catch a cold. During the cold seasons, school-aged children are the most susceptible to illness and colds. Parents, especially mothers, not only seek medical treatments for their children's colds but also prepare various soups, stews, turnips, etc., foods that children may avoid eating.

If you are one of these mothers, when your child has a cold, you can prepare citrus gummies for them. These gummies not only help in treating a cold but also strengthen the immune system and are useful in preventing colds. In this section, we will teach you how to make cold-fighting gummies.

🍬Ingredients for Citrus Gummies

  • Citrus juice: 2 cups

  • Fresh ginger: 1 piece

  • Honey: 2 tablespoons

  • Gelatin powder: 1 tablespoon

🍬Instructions for making cold-fighting 🤧gummies:

  1. Extract the juice of citrus fruits like tangerine, orange, lemon, or grapefruit.

  2. Peel and finely grate the fresh ginger.

  3. Add the grated ginger to the citrus juice and stir.

  4. Add some honey to the citrus and ginger mixture.

  5. In a bowl, mix 1 tablespoon of gelatin powder with warm water.

  6. Stir the gelatin and water until the particles dissolve.

  7. After the gelatin has dissolved in the water, steam it over a kettle and then add it to the citrus mixture.

  8. Pour the mixture into greased silicone molds or, if you don't have molds, pour it into a rectangular dish and place it in the fridge.

  9. Once the mixture hardens and sets in the fridge, remove it from the molds, cut it into pieces, and enjoy.

Important Note:

These types of gummies are also recommended for people with joint pain.

You can store the gummies in the refrigerator for up to one week.

Citrus fruits, due to their vitamin C and vitamin B9 content, can help strengthen the immune system and protect against coughing and infections caused by colds. These nutrients increase the body's resistance and accelerate the recovery process from a cold.
