5 large eggs
150g brown sugar
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
180g butter
200g dark chocolate
1 tablespoon thick caramel sauce
40g all-purpose flour
A pinch of salt
Beat the eggs, sugar, and vanilla on high speed until frothy.
Melt the butter and chocolate together (using a microwave or double boiler). Add to the batter and mix well.
Stir in the caramel sauce, flour, and salt until fully combined.
Pour the batter into a 20cm cake pan, greased with butter and lined with parchment paper. Let it rest in the refrigerator for one hour before baking.
Preheat the oven and bake at 390°F (200°C) for 5 minutes, then reduce the temperature to 250°F (120°C) and bake for another 40 minutes.
