According to the History and Culture section of Saed News, the construction of Egypt’s Three Pyramids, most of which serve as tombs for the pharaohs, began approximately 5,000 years ago, starting with the Third Dynasty of Egyptian pharaohs and continued until the Eighteenth Dynasty. During the 13-year reign of Pharaoh Sahure, he, like his predecessors, added to the pyramids, and the sealed secrets of his pyramid are still being uncovered.

Sahure’s pyramid, located in the Abusir cemetery, has been under restoration since 2019 to preserve the structure of its inner chambers and prevent collapse. Recently, restoration specialists from the University of Würzburg in Germany, while clearing the debris inside the pyramid, discovered hidden halls that appear to have been used as storage rooms.

These experts believe that the hidden chambers in Sahure’s pyramid reveal secrets about pyramid design and the intentions of the original builders thousands of years ago. They hope that studying these halls will uncover fascinating insights into the construction and purpose of these ancient monuments.
