SAEDNEWS: In the wake of devastating Israeli attacks on civilian infrastructure, Iran’s Minister of Roads and Urban Development has announced the immediate mobilization of engineering and housing agencies to assess damage and accelerate reconstruction across affected regions.
According to Saed News, Iran has launched a nationwide initiative to repair and rebuild housing and public infrastructure destroyed in recent Israeli airstrikes. Speaking after a high-level meeting with the Parliamentary Commission on Urban Development, Roads and Urban Development Minister Farzaneh Sadegh confirmed that the Housing Foundation of the Islamic Revolution and the National Engineering Organization have been fully deployed to support reconstruction efforts.
“We have formed a specialized committee within the ministry dedicated to evaluating the extent of destruction caused by the Zionist regime’s attacks,” Sadegh stated. “This committee is not only assessing damage but is actively planning safety reinforcements and targeted rebuilding of residential units.”
Despite the scale of destruction, Sadegh emphasized that there has been no disruption in the transportation of passengers or essential goods, thanks to coordinated efforts across Iran’s road, rail, and port sectors. “The resilience shown by our people and logistics professionals proves that the enemy failed to paralyze our national systems,” she said.
In a show of solidarity, members of parliament pledged full legislative support to expedite recovery. Emergency bills are expected to be drafted and approved swiftly to streamline transport logistics, housing reconstruction, and public safety regulations.
Sadegh praised the unity between the executive and legislative branches, calling the moment “a peak of national solidarity.” She highlighted the Iranian public’s patience and courage: “Despite enduring war crimes by the Zionist regime, our people have stood firmly behind the state and supported us in every way.”
The Ministry has vowed that the reconstruction process will be swift and comprehensive, and that affected citizens will receive quality services “in the shortest time possible.” In parallel, the government has launched damage surveys to ensure that rebuilding efforts meet safety codes and long-term housing needs.
As Iran continues to grapple with the aftermath of foreign aggression, the rebuilding effort is being framed not just as a response to destruction, but as an assertion of resilience, sovereignty, and defiance in the face of continued Israeli military pressure
