According to SaedNews, hundreds of South Africans held a protest rally in front of the U.S. Consulate in Johannesburg, expressing their support for the Islamic Republic of Iran and voicing their anger and hatred toward the child-killing Israeli regime.

This protest, organized with the participation of more than 20 NGOs in Johannesburg and attended by hundreds of demonstrators, featured participants carrying the flags of Iran, Palestine, and Hezbollah, along with photos of Imam Khomeini (RA), the Supreme Leader, and martyrs of the resistance. They condemned the Israeli attack on Iran and demanded an end to the aggression.

Solly Mapaila, the head of the South African Communist Party, stated at the rally:
“Iran is the center of resistance and the command room of the resistance axis. Just as Israel cannot survive without America, the resistance axis cannot continue without Iran. We must support Iran with our souls and hearts.”

Carl Niehaus, former South African ambassador to the Netherlands and current member of the South African National Assembly, also described Iran as the main supporter and backbone of the resistance axis, saying he would be willing to wear a burial shroud and defend Iran if Iran needed manpower to defend itself.

Imran, another member of the South African National Assembly, was also among the speakers. He supported the South African government’s stance and emphasized that Netanyahu would be arrested if he visited any African country. He said he would soon present a new bill against Israel in the South African parliament.

The demonstrators, using slogans in the spirit of the anti-apartheid struggle, expressed support for Iran and the resistance axis and condemned the genocide of Palestinians.

The event, which was broadcast live by South African media, received widespread coverage across the country and the African continent.

The protest in Johannesburg ended with the burning of the Israeli and American flags, along with images of Netanyahu and Trump.
