Saed News: The Prime Minister of Iraq, referring to his country’s commitment to following the negotiations between Iran and the United States, expressed hope that these talks will lead to an agreement.
According to the Saed News website, quoting IRNA, Mohammad Shia Al-Sudani, the Prime Minister of Iraq, said on Wednesday during a meeting with the ambassadors of the European Union and the permanent members of the UN Security Council in Iraq:
“We are closely following the negotiations between Iran and the United States.”
He continued:
“We hope these negotiations lead to an agreement based on balanced and fair approaches, because this issue cannot be resolved through tension.”
Regarding the Palestinian issue, Al-Sudani said:
“Everyone must be aware of the danger of the continued suffering of the Palestinian people and the occupying government’s prevention of aid delivery, aimed at keeping the people of Gaza hungry, which amounts to a form of collective killing.”
He emphasized:
“We support political cohesion in Lebanon through the formation of a government and condemn the ongoing aggressions against the country that have obstructed stability and reconstruction efforts in Lebanon.”
The Prime Minister of Iraq stated:
“Diversity in Iraq is a source of strength and internal cohesion, not a cause for concern.”
