SAEDNEWS: Pakistan’s President Asif Ali Zardari sent a message of goodwill and solidarity to Iran’s top leadership after his aircraft entered Iranian airspace during an official trip to Iraq, according to a statement from Islamabad.
According to the President’s Office, while en route from Islamabad to Baghdad, President Zardari’s plane entered Iranian airspace, during which he sent a message of goodwill to Iran’s leadership.
The message was addressed to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, and Iran’s President, Masoud Pezeshkian.
President Zardari also underscored the importance of mutual respect and emphasized strengthening regional relations.
