SAEDNEWS: Mohammad Saeed Ahadian, political assistant to the Speaker of Parliament, reported that the Foreign Minister criticized Hassan Rouhani and Mohammad Javad Zarif’s positions on relations with Russia and China. According to him, these remarks were made in a private meeting.
According to Saed News’ political service, citing Khabar Online, Mohammad Saeed Ahadian, the political aide to the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, referred to recent criticisms directed at the Parliament, stating: “Some individuals focus on labeling others and engage in daily acts of disparagement, presumably to create leverage for their own actions later. In short, my interpretation of this wave of criticism is that they are concerned about something else. The most optimistic view is that they worry we may move toward implementing the strategic agreement with Russia.”
He added: “This faction carries out a widespread campaign of criticism with considerable influence. My understanding is that they are concerned about this path—the direction the government has taken, which is unfolding contrary to their expectations. You may have heard that in one session, the Foreign Minister criticized certain positions of Mr. Zarif and President Rouhani; according to reports, this criticism was raised in a private meeting.”
