SAEDNEWS: Mojtaba Zarei declared that Iran’s recent war with Israel thwarted enemy plots to dismantle the Islamic Republic and instead propelled the country 20 years forward in technology and security. He credited national unity and the Supreme Leader’s wisdom for the victory.

Iran Turns War Pressure into Strategic Advantage

According to Saed News citing IRNA, Mojtaba Zarei, speaking Friday evening at the closing session of the national capacity-building program for Basij university professors in Mashhad, stated that Iran’s enemies, including the Zionist regime, sought to destroy Iran’s nuclear industry, missile capabilities, and to overthrow the structure of the Islamic Republic during the recent imposed war. He said they pursued various pressures, attacks, and scenarios in this path.

He added that the ultimate goal of these hostilities was the complete overthrow of the Islamic Republic and the creation of chaos in the country.

The Tehran MP explained that the enemy’s plan included attacks on vital centers, airports, defense infrastructure, assassinations of political and military officials, border wars, city-by-city occupation in border provinces, attempts at partition, and coordinated actions in Tehran. However, the Supreme Leader’s strategies and the people’s support prevented these plans from succeeding.

Zarei emphasized that the enemy continues to attempt to sow division among political groups and pit the people against each other, while Iran’s duty is to foster unity and public trust.

Contrary to enemy expectations, he noted, Iran managed to gain significant achievements from the recent war, advancing 20 years in technology and security. One of the key outcomes was a broader understanding of both Iran’s own capabilities and those of its enemies.

The member of parliament added that, just as Imam Khomeini guided the people during the Sacred Defense, today the Supreme Leader, with wisdom, led the country through a full-scale war and defeated the enemy. This reflects the principle that leadership in Islam, even amid wars and political crises, remains focused on nurturing society’s intellectual growth.

Zarei warned against being misled by superficial social media analyses, stressing that the era of disputes between conservatives and reformists is over. He said the only national agenda is the seven pillars outlined by the Supreme Leader, officially issued during the 40th commemoration of the martyrs of the imposed war.

He concluded that today’s victory of the Iranian nation in crushing the Zionist regime and thwarting U.S. plans was the result of national solidarity and wise leadership of the Supreme Leader. This achievement, he said, must be sustained as a national roadmap, as the recent war pushed Iran 20 years ahead and provided invaluable experience to secure the country’s future.
