Iran and Saudi Arabia Foreign Ministers Meet in Jeddah to Discuss Gaza Crisis and Regional Stability

SAEDNEWS: In a meeting on the sidelines of the OIC summit in Jeddah, the foreign ministers of Iran and Saudi Arabia discussed the Gaza crisis, bilateral relations, and the importance of Islamic unity in stopping Israeli aggression and promoting regional stability.

"According to Saed News quoting ISNA, Seyed Abbas Araghchi" and "Faisal bin Farhan," the foreign ministers of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, met and held talks on the sidelines of the extraordinary meeting of the foreign ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Jeddah.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the latest regional and international developments, especially the alarming situation in Gaza and the continuation of the crimes of the Zionist regime against the Palestinian people. They stressed the urgent need for greater coordination among Islamic countries to immediately stop the aggressions, allow the entry of humanitarian aid, and confront the dangerous expansionist projects of this regime.

The meeting also addressed the latest developments in bilateral relations between Tehran and Riyadh. Both parties expressed satisfaction with the positive trajectory of recent interactions and emphasized the necessity of continuing consultations and strengthening cooperation in political, economic, security, and regional fields.

The two ministers also underlined the important role of Iran–Saudi cooperation in reinforcing regional stability and shaping an order based on dialogue, mutual respect, and non-interference in the internal affairs of countries.
