The Government Is Making Every Effort To Preserve National Solidarity

According to Saed News, President Masoud Pezeshkian, on Wednesday evening during a consultative meeting with senior scholars of the Qom Seminary, emphasized that "we must seek to resolve problems with empathy and pragmatism." He stated: "The government is striving to confront problems with expert and practical solutions and to address the country’s imbalances."

Pezeshkian stressed that the government is following the guidelines of the Supreme Leader and pursuing national issues in line with the Seventh Development Plan. He said: "By considering the Supreme Leader’s directives and with the cooperation and unity of the people, it is possible to solve and overcome the challenges."

Referring to the government's efforts, he added: "We have confronted the problems with internal solidarity and cohesion, and the government is actively working to resolve the country’s issues. Problems have already decreased in the short and medium term and will continue to be resolved."

He continued: "The provincial governors have full authority to address local issues, and anyone in the provinces who can present scientific solutions to problems should step forward. The government is fully committed to supporting and utilizing their capacities."

The President also highlighted the brave resistance of the people and the armed forces during the recent 12-day imposed war, adding: "The government is making every effort to preserve national solidarity and to ensure that everyone receives their rightful due. In this regard, solidarity and unity are of paramount importance."

Pezeshkian emphasized: "This country does not belong to a particular group, individual, faction, or political wing. Rights are independent of individuals, and we must learn to align ourselves with the truth."

He went on: "In all areas of governance, the primary approach must be expert and specialized. We must use scientific, technical, and religious tools to distinguish right from wrong and solve issues."

Welcoming neighborhood-based and mosque-centered initiatives to resolve societal problems, the President said: "We will support public participation through community and mosque-centered approaches. If mosques become the center, local problems can be resolved. We must strengthen mosque-centered and community-based efforts and increase public engagement through them."

He added: "We are pursuing this strategy nationwide, aiming to involve mosques and, through them, address the concerns and issues of local communities."

The President concluded by saying: "We are ready to delegate the necessary authority to experts to resolve issues, and we firmly believe that with the presence of knowledgeable individuals and specialists, problems can be managed and resolved."

He emphasized that the government has made national unity the core of its mission, stating: "With this vision, a Baloch governor was appointed for Sistan and Baluchestan and a Sunni Kurdish governor for Kurdistan. Through empathy, they took clear stances and succeeded in overcoming issues and divisions in those regions through solidarity."
