SAEDNEWS: Iran’s permanent mission to the United Nations hit back on Wednesday at the remarks by a United States envoy calling for zero uranium enrichment on the Iranian territory.
In a post on X, the Iranian mission said calls for “zero enrichment, ultimatums, and coercion wrapped in diplomatic vocabulary” did not amount to negotiations, but instead showed an effort to force capitulation rather than reach an agreement.
Iran also accused the United States of lacking credibility on diplomacy, saying Washington had openly acknowledged its leading role in enabling and coordinating Israel’s war against Iran.
The mission added that its stance was “anchored in the rule of law, not the rule of power.”
