SAEDNEWS: The commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC)'s Aerospace Force has vowed that the force would remain firmly committed to the path of resistance in the face of hegemonic oppression by global arrogant powers.

IRGC Aerospace Force Vows Cast-Iron Resolve To Uphold Flag of Resistance

“Iran’s Armed Forces, especially the IRGC and its Aerospace Force, see themselves as the flag-bearers of this movement and will always strive to uphold and raise this flag,” Brigadier General Majid Mousavi told a televised interview on Tuesday.

He attributed the force’s determination to continue on this path to the nation’s broad support for the cause of resistance.

“The great nation of Iran, whom we serve, is the backbone of this path,” the commander noted.

Mousavi described Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei as the only authority capable of outlining the lofty level of respect that the nation deserved.

“Only the Leader can truly define the status and dignity of the people because they (the nation) have always been attentive to his command.”

He identified Ayatollah Khamenei as the rightful inheritor of the legacy of the country’s 1979 Islamic Revolution, which the Aerospace Force would try its utmost to preserve.

“Until the end of our lives and as long as there is blood in our veins, we will carry on this great responsibility of guarding the Islamic Revolution,” he said, noting that the force viewed the Revolution in a “civilizational” light.

The commander paid tribute to his predecessor, Brigadier General Amir-Ali Hajizadeh, who was martyred during an unprovoked Israeli was against the Islamic Republic last month as well as Brigadier General Hassan Tehrani Moghaddam, who served to make indispensable contributions to the force’s enhancement.

Iran’s Armed Forces, including the Aerospace Force, launched at least 22 phases of determined counteroffensives in the face of the war, targeting many critical Israeli nuclear, military, and industrial sites.

The retaliation that deployed hundreds of ballistic missiles and drones forced the Israeli regime to request a ceasefire only after 12 days into the war, despite receiving unprecedented American military and intelligence support throughout the course of the aggression.

Concluding his remarks, Mousavi further underlined the responsibility that was borne by those, who had taken over the mission of the country’s defense after the untimely loss of such dedicated figures as Hajizadeh.

Their legacy of “courage and jihad (struggle)” remains alive across the IRGC’s operations, he said, adding, “Those who remain on this path bear a great mission on their shoulders.”
