SAEDNEWS: The Foreign Minister elaborated on Iran’s conditions for resuming talks with the U.S.
A member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Parliament quoted Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi a saying if sanctions are lifted and Iran’s right to use peaceful nuclear technology is respected, indirect negotiations with the United States will be held before raising the issue of snapback.
In an interview with IRNA, Yaqoub Rezazadeh said about the meeting of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Parliament on Tuesday that Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi and Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran Mohammad Eslami were guests of the commission and they discussed and exchanged views on the process of negotiations, the importance of Iran's missile power as a key player in the negotiations, and attention to the country's defense capabilities.
He added that in this meeting, the Foreign Minister mentioned that talks with Russia on nuclear issues are planned, and that talks at the level of deputy foreign ministers between Iran and the European Troika on the Iranian nuclear program will be held on Friday in Istanbul, Turkey.
Rezazadeh said the Foreign Minister emphasized that if sanctions are lifted and Iran's right to use peaceful nuclear technology is respected, indirect negotiations with the United States will be held before raising the issue of snapback in October.
