Judiciary Chief Warns Against Divisive Rhetoric, Stresses Need For National Unity

According to Saednews, Judiciary Chief Gholamhossein Mohseni-Ejei has called for efforts to strengthen national unity, saying words or actions that undermine national unity are “undesirable and reprehensible.”

“One must avoid any words or actions that are divisive, because today, sowing division is an objectionable and wrong act, while promoting unity is considered among the virtuous deeds,” Ejei said at a meeting of the Judiciary’s High Council on Monday, according to the Judiciary’s Mizan news agency.

He said that all those with a platform, including the national media, have a heavy responsibility in this regard.

He said the recent U.S.-Israeli war of aggression once again highlighted the impact of the “wise and prudent leadership” of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei whose guidance, he noted, “thwarted and exposed” the enemy’s plots.

In these events, the Leader once again became the center of unity for the people, who rallied around him, Ejei said, adding that even those who had grievances about the country’s conditions defended the Leader and identified as obedient to him in the face of a cowardly enemy.

Ejei stressed the importance of safeguarding national unity, which, he said, has been strengthened in recent days.

He warned that enemies would attempt to sow discord using various deceptive tools and methods, and emphasized the need for vigilance.

Addressing concerns over a mutual cessation of attacks between Iran and Israel, the judiciary chief said no trust should be placed in the “cowardly and wicked Zionist” and American enemy.

“While Iran will never initiate a war, it is fully prepared to defend itself against any imposed conflict, and it will neither accept an imposed war nor an imposed peace,” he added.
