SaedNews: Despite Donald Trump, the President of the United States, supporting Israel’s war against Iran, the U.S. State Department spokesperson claimed that Trump calls for ending the war through diplomacy.
According to SaedNews, Ms. Tammy Bruce, spokesperson for the U.S. State Department, said Tuesday evening local time regarding Trump’s claims and threats against Iran: “I cannot prejudge the meaning of his statements. He calls for stopping the Iran-Israel war through diplomacy and ending eternal wars.”
The Trump administration spokesperson, in response to a question about the possibility of a U.S. proposal to Iran, also claimed: “I cannot discuss such details.”
Regarding a question about U.S. officials’ acknowledgment that they have not moved toward nuclear weapons and do not seek them, as well as recent false claims by Israeli and U.S. officials, she said: “I cannot discuss this matter. President Trump and his team are reviewing issues that influence decision-making.”
In response to a question about Trump’s short 60-day deadline for Iran in a complex matter, despite his 18-month opportunity given to the Taliban, she said: “I cannot speak about President Trump’s decision-making.”
When asked about Israel’s attacks on Iranian journalists and television, she deferred the answer to the Israeli regime.
Despite Washington’s awareness of Israeli attacks and coordination with U.S. officials, she claimed again: “The United States has no role in Israel’s attacks on Iran.”
At the same time, the State Department spokesperson repeated her country’s claims, stating: “If harm comes to Americans or if missiles are fired at civilians, there will be consequences.”
Earlier, U.S. President Donald Trump, repeating his claims and boasting about an imagined unconditional Iranian surrender to his demands and bullying, said: “We do not want missiles fired at civilians or American soldiers. Our patience is running out.”
In the early hours of Friday, June 13, 2025, following a terrorist attack by the Zionist regime on Tehran and several other cities in Iran, a number of military commanders, scientists, and civilians were martyred.
Following this crime by the Zionist regime, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran addressed the great nation of Iran, stating: “The regime must expect a harsh punishment. The powerful hand of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic will not leave them, God willing.”
