SAEDNEWS: The spokesperson for the General Staff of the Armed Forces stated: "The child-killing Zionist regime launched an assault on our country's residential areas in the early hours of yesterday, massacring a significant number of innocent people, women, and children."
According to the Political Service of Saed News, Brigadier General Abolfazl Shekarchi, spokesperson for the General Staff of the Armed Forces, spoke to IRIB News Network following a report on the martyrdom of children, including six-month-old infants, and innocent women in Shahid Chamran Town. He addressed the Zionist regime's War Minister's claims regarding the Islamic Republic of Iran targeting residential areas in the occupied territories.
"The fake, criminal, and child-killing Zionist regime assaulted our country's residential areas yesterday morning, massacring a significant number of innocent people, especially women and children," Shekarchi stated. "This was evident in the images you broadcast. Many of these families, who were preparing to celebrate Eid al-Ghadir, with some even planning their wedding ceremonies, were plunged into mourning."
He continued: "The criminal Zionist regime turned the celebrations of Iranian families into mourning. It is that child-killing regime that attacked residential areas and dragged these innocent individuals through blood and dust."
The spokesperson for the General Staff of the Armed Forces emphasized: "The criminal Zionist regime is extremely incapable of intercepting powerful, precision-guided Iranian missiles that can penetrate the various layers of the Zionist regime's air defenses, even with the help of all their supporters, especially the United States. This has been experienced multiple times, and Operation True Promise 3 was carried out with even more devastating force."
He added: "Due to this incapability and the conditions created by the Zionist regime's jamming efforts, not all missiles hit military centers, especially the Zionist regime's Ministry of War headquarters, yet despite all these tricks, they still failed. In any case, they diverted some of these missiles towards other areas under jamming conditions, which is yet another criminal act by the Zionist regime."
Brigadier General Shekarchi reiterated: "The reality is that it is the Zionist regime that has struck our country's residential areas, and television reporters are broadcasting the images live."
Regarding the statements of Brigadier General Fadavi, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the IRGC, who announced last night that the response to the Zionist regime would continue for as long as necessary, and concerning the successful impact of Iranian ballistic missiles, designed and produced by Iranian experts to ensure a deterrent response to the Zionist regime, Shekarchi said: "The Supreme Commander-in-Chief, in his valuable statements, explicitly declared to the world and the fake Zionist regime that we will certainly make this regime regret its actions."
The spokesperson for the General Staff of the Armed Forces continued: "A part of the powerful Operation True Promise 3 continued due to the crime committed by the Zionist regime yesterday, and actions were also carried out last night. The Islamic Republic of Iran possesses this power. The false belief that had formed in the minds of the Zionist regime and its supporters — that by eliminating and martyring some of the valiant commanders of Iran's armed forces they could create a weakness — will be proven wrong. As the Leader stated, their replacements, God willing, will continue the powerful path of our dear martyrs with greater strength and stronger will, and they will certainly make the Zionist regime regret its actions."
