“Humanity is thirsty for justice, fairness, and respect for the rule of law. Global civilization relies on the rich history and culture of nations like Iran and China, and in the light of these civilizations, nations can live with dignity. We have gathered here to work for the rule of law, mutual respect, and constructive interaction among countries and peoples.”

According to ISNA, the President, referring to his meeting with the Chinese President, added:
“It was agreed that the important issues discussed in this meeting will be pursued. The Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to implement and operationalize these agreements. We must stand against the bullying and arrogance of countries that do not wish for friendly relations with us.”

Pezeshkian further stressed:
“The Supreme Leader has emphasized expanding relations with China and has tasked us with pursuing this matter. I hope that by establishing a joint working group, the agreements between the two countries will quickly move toward implementation.”

Mr. Huang Hu, for his part, expressed appreciation for the Iranian President’s positive evaluation of the recent SCO summit in Tianjin and said:
“We are ready to operationalize your agreements with Mr. Xi Jinping. Just as China has supported Iran in the past, it will continue to stand by Iran regarding sovereignty and national interests.”
