SAEDNEWS: The third installment of HBO's 'Euphoria' was set to begin filming in January 2025
According to SAEDNEWS, It looks like fans of Euphoria may need to brace themselves for potential delays in the filming of Season 3, which was initially slated to begin in January 2025. According to insider information shared with Life & Style, this start date might just be a best-case scenario based on the availability of the cast.
The source explained, “The January 2025 date the team put out was simply a result of figuring out when all the actors could be assembled again.” They also cautioned that this timeline doesn’t consider various possible obstacles that could arise.
One significant factor contributing to the potential delay is Zendaya’s busy schedule. If she gets nominated for Best Actress this awards season for her performance in Challengers, her availability could become even more limited. The insider pointed out, “There will be the demands on Zendaya’s time if she’s in the Best Actress race this year.”
In addition, her co-star and on-screen mentor, Colman Domingo, is expected to be campaigning for his role in Sing Sing during the same awards season, which could further complicate schedules.
As for the scripts, the insider noted that they are taking longer than anticipated. While there are deadlines set for completion this fall, “just because there are deadlines doesn’t mean there are any guarantees they will be ready by then.”
The insider concluded with a sense of uncertainty, saying, “A lot is still up in the air and the only constant is that, no matter what, HBO wants the series back and is being a lot more patient with it than they are with some of their other shows and creators. I will be stunned if cameras really are rolling next January!”
With all these factors at play, it’s clear that the timeline for Euphoria Season 3 remains fluid, and fans will need to stay tuned for updates as the situation evolves.
