SAEDNEWS: Celine Dion called out US politician through social media.
According to SAEDNEWS, Celine Dion has expressed her disappointment over Donald Trump's recent use of her classic song, "My Heart Will Go On," during a campaign rally in Montana. The beloved ballad, originally featured in the 1997 film Titanic, was played without the singer's permission, prompting her management to take a stand.
In a statement shared on social media, Dion's team stated, "Today, Celine Dion’s management team and her record label, Sony Music Entertainment Canada Inc., became aware of the unauthorized usage of the video, recording, musical performance, and likeness of Celine Dion singing 'My Heart Will Go On' at a Donald Trump/JD Vance campaign rally in Montana."
The statement emphasized that this use was not authorized and made it clear that Dion does not endorse Trump or his campaign in any form. "And really, THAT song?" they added, reflecting her surprise at the choice of music.
The Trump campaign has yet to respond to the situation following the rally in Bozeman, Montana, where the song was played. Dion's team is clearly sending a strong message about the importance of respecting artists’ rights and permissions.
