SAEDNEWS: Iran inaugurated the first phase of a gas capture project in Ilam province, using over 85% domestic technology, aiming to prevent $700 million in annual losses and reduce severe environmental pollution.
According to Saed News citing ISNA, Masoud Pezeshkian wrote on his X social media account: “Yesterday, thanks to the efforts of domestic engineers and specialists and utilizing more than 85% domestic production, we officially inaugurated the first phase of the associated gas collection project in southern Ilam province.”
This national initiative prevents the burning of $700 million of national wealth each year and significantly reduces environmental pollution.
