According to the tourism section of Saed News, this article introduces the most beautiful flower plains in Iran during spring.

1. Fandoghlou Flower Plain

2. Salansar Plain – Gilan
Salansar is a beautiful summer retreat in the Rudbar region of Gilan province. The Salansar road, its flower-filled plain, and the ocean of clouds add to the stunning beauty of this area.

3. Shakardasht Plain
Shakardasht is one of the most pristine and unique highland areas in northern Iran. With its beautiful beech and maple forests, breathtaking flora, flower plains, unique rural dwellings, and picturesque scenery, this region captivates every visitor. Due to its high altitude, clouds form over the green peaks, making it feel like you're walking or driving above the clouds. The plain of poppies in Talesh is also one of the region's highlights, creating a magical and unforgettable landscape.

Located in the heart of the Talesh mountains, Shakardasht is 29 km from the city of Talesh, 130 km from Rasht, and lies between Gilan and Ardabil provinces, near the famous Subatan highlands.

Also known as Shakardasht Subatan, it was once a royal retreat. Thanks to its fertile soil and pleasant weather, it was ideal for farming—hence the name “Shakardasht” (Sugar Plain). The area was once beneath sea level, and as the sea receded over time, the lush mountain and plain of Talesh emerged. Gradually, people migrated from the mountains to the plains. One of Shakardasht’s main attractions is its proximity to the forest. Its scattered cottages, poppy fields, and pristine nature all add to its charm.
Shakardasht is known as the “Bride of Talesh” due to its unmatched beauty in every season.

4. Daryasar Plain

5. The Plain of Inverted Tulips – Lorestan

6. Lar Plain
The Lar Poppy Plain lies at the foothills of Mount Damavand and is divided into northern and southern sections. Lar National Park borders the mountains of Nowshahr County in Mazandaran to the north and Lavasanat District in Shemiranat, Tehran, to the south. Part of the plain is located in Larijan District of Amol County, and the rest lies within the Lavasanat area of Shemiranat.
