SAEDNEWS: Israel’s Radio and Television Organization reported that Benjamin Netanyahu, the regime’s prime minister, will travel to the United States tonight to meet with Donald Trump and discuss several issues.
According to SaedNews political service, Israel’s radio and television reported that during their upcoming meeting, Netanyahu will ask Trump to discuss the second phase of the ceasefire only after the return of the last Israeli captive’s body from Gaza.
The Hebrew media outlet also reported that Netanyahu and Trump will discuss Iran’s missile capabilities, the disarmament of Hezbollah and Hamas, and relations with Syria.
In this context, Roni Ben-Yishai, a military analyst for the Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth, said Netanyahu will meet with Trump this week to reach understandings. However, security agencies warn that the ceasefire is on the verge of collapse across all fronts.
Ben-Yishai stated that Hamas and Hezbollah refuse to surrender their weapons, and under such circumstances, the Israeli army will not withdraw from the “yellow line” in central Gaza or southern Lebanon.
He claimed that the greatest concern is the possibility of the U.S. reaching a “bad deal” with Iran, which could force Netanyahu to compromise on vital security interests.
Last Thursday, an Israeli official warned that if the U.S. fails to reach an agreement to halt Iran’s ballistic missile program, a military confrontation with Iran may become inevitable.
The official told Yedioth Ahronoth that the threat posed by ballistic missiles is extremely serious, and a salvo of these missiles toward Israel could cause damage comparable to that of a small nuclear bomb.
He described Iran’s missile threat as extremely dangerous and added that Netanyahu will soon provide Trump with sensitive intelligence on the matter.
