Iranian and Egyptian Foreign Ministers Hold Talks in Cairo

According to SAEDNEWS, The foreign ministers of Iran and Egypt met in Cairo on Thursday for important discussions. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi spoke with his Egyptian counterpart Badr Abdel Atay about the relationship between their two countries and the latest developments in the region.

Last week, Araghchi traveled to several countries, including Lebanon, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Iraq, Oman, and Jordan. His visits were part of a regional effort to address ongoing issues in Gaza and Lebanon, particularly regarding the actions of the Israeli government. During these trips, he met with senior officials from those nations to discuss collaborative approaches.

Cairo marks the eighth stop on Araghchi's tour, which began two weeks ago. The purpose of this journey is to "coordinate efforts aimed at halting the crimes of the Zionist regime and activating a ceasefire in Gaza and Lebanon." Araghchi arrived in Cairo late on Wednesday, ready to engage in dialogue with Egyptian leaders.
