Iran's Junior Greco-Roman Wrestlers Dominate the Mat, Claim World Championship Titles!

According to SAEDNEWS, From August 29 to 31, Amman played host to the highly anticipated World Junior Wrestling Championships, showcasing talent from teams across the globe. The competition was fierce, but ultimately, it was the Iranian team that emerged victorious, successfully defending their championship title.

The Iranian wrestlers delivered an outstanding performance, bringing home a total of three gold medals and three bronze medals. Armin Shamsipour (48 kg), Amir Mahdi Saeidi Nava (65 kg), and Danial Izadi (92 kg) each claimed gold in their respective weight categories, demonstrating their exceptional skills on the mat.

In addition to their gold medalists, Iran also celebrated bronze medal victories for Abolfazl Karami (51 kg), Emadreza Mohsen-Nejad (80 kg), and Ali Asghar Dadbakhsh (110 kg), adding to the team's impressive medal tally.

With a total of 140 points, Iran topped the leaderboard, while Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan followed closely, finishing in second and third place with 113 and 105 points, respectively.
