SAEDNEWS: U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth denied early Tuesday that any plans for attacks on Yemen were discussed over an insecure messaging platform.
According to SAEDNEWS: quoting Fars, the U.S. Secretary of Defense stated early Tuesday morning that the country's military is carrying out Trump's orders to attack Yemen.
"Pete Hegseth," the U.S. Secretary of Defense, denied early Tuesday morning that plans for attacks on Yemen were discussed on an insecure messaging platform.
Regarding this, Hegseth claimed: "The only thing I can say is that no one was discussing war plans on a messaging app."
He continued: "Trump said we will ensure freedom of navigation and eliminate the Houthis, and that is what we are doing now."
The U.S. Secretary of Defense also claimed: "Our forces were attacked by Yemen and are only responding in self-defense."
